We are continuing our long-term study of "The Life and Letters of Paul,” with an in-depth examination of 2 Thessalonians. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided.
"Family of Faith" Prayer Meeting, January 7
The church is invited to gather for a time of prayer, this Wednesday, January 7, 7:00-8:30 pm, at the Grishams’ home. We will enter into the presence of God together in prayer, and will lift up our praises and petitions to him at the start of this new year. (Note that the Pastor’s Bible Study, Fellowship of the Mystery, will resume its regular midweek meetings the following Wednesday, January 14, 7:00-8:30 pm.)
Faith Presbyterian Players Cast Party!
There will be a post-production cast party for the cast and crew of our recent dramatic production, “Snowed in for Christmas Eve,” next Sunday evening, January 11, 5:00-7:00 pm, at the Grishams. It will be a potluck, so please RSVP with Virginia Grisham. (Note that the "First Sunday" open house that would ordinarily have been scheduled for Sunday, January 4, has been postponed until February 1, on account of the other fellowship events this week.)
“First Sunday," February 1
On the “First Sunday” of each month, there is an open house at Pastor Grisham’s home following the worship service, from 12:45-2:15 pm, to which all are invited to come for food and fellowship. This is an opportunity for visitors and new attendees to meet people and to enjoy good fellowship time in a relaxed atmosphere. Welcome!
